Here are some of our activities:

The primary function of our Association is the publication of
the Jewish Bible Quarterly, now completing 24 years of
uninterrupted publication. The JBQ is the only Jewish-sponsored
English-language magazine devoted exclusively to the TANAKH. The
JBQ is gaining wide recognition. Dozens of synagogue study
groups well as hundreds of individuals utilize our magazine with
its appended Bible Reading calendar for furthering their
knowledge of the TANAKH.

Here are some of the new projects we are undertaking in the
coming year: we are starting adult education courses on Tanakh
as well as college-level courses on Bible for academic credit to
be given over the Internet; we are opening a web site on the
Internet that will have on it information about the Jewish Bible
Association as well as our educational material: our weekly
Bible quizes, Bible reading calendar, 24-year index of the JBQ,
etc.; we'll be preparing a CDROM that will have on it all 24
back volumes of the JBQ; we will also be publishing separate
books on biblical themes.
